Dear students, teachers and parents,

 

It will be Day Light Saving (DST) time change this Sunday.  We are going to lose an hour due to the change over.  Please make sure that you set your watch/clock before going to bed at night on Saturday.

 

We will have a spring recess on March 28.  No class on that Sunday.

 

Our handwriting event is well underway.  The deadline is March 21.  We had a great participation last year.  I expect the turn out will be even better this year.  Attached are the flyer and formatted handwriting sheet in case you have lost your copy.

 

I received an email about YCT (Youth Chinese Test).  The attached email has details about the test.  This is the first time I have heard about the test.  The test could give an indication of what level of Chinese the student has mastered.  I am not sure if it has any relevance to AP Chinese or SATII.  If we have enough students interested, we may investigate into it.  Note that there are fees associated with the test.  Please read the attachment carefully and let me know if your students are interested.
